Refund Policy

The goal of Thriving Smart LLC is to deliver best value per dollar spent by our client. To achieve that goal, we need to cover expenses and fuel our operations; so, it is required that payment for all invoices are made on time.

It is understandable that “life happens” at times and client may require a refund on fees paid for a service or product to Thriving Smart LLC. So, we created a refund policy to define the situations under which we can provide a refund.

By purchasing our products or signing up for our services, you declare that you have read and understood this Agreement, and you agree to be bound by it.

Coverage & Scope

This refund policy covers the products and services offered on websites owned and managed by Thriving Smart LLC.

This policy does not cover for third-party websites not owned by Thriving Smart LLC. This includes any third party service and / or product providers bound by contract and also, any third-party websites that Thriving Smart website links to.

General Refund Policy Guidelines

Web Design & Development:

  • Full refund: This is applicable if the web project has not been started or if the initial design style has not been approved.
  • Partial refund: This is applicable if there is a failure to deliver on the next timeline as stated in the proposal or related working. The partial refund will be in proportion to the work completed.
  • No refunds: This is applicable if the project has been completed and uploaded on the client’s server.

Website Maintenance:

In a case where we’ll be adding/updating content (text, image, video) to a web page, the client is responsible for providing content in digital format. Unused hours do not roll over to subsequent months.

No refunds are provided for unused hours. There are absolutely no refunds for any fees related to website maintenance services.

Our support plans are dependent on the scope and size of a website and are quoted on an monthly, bi-annual, or annual basis.

For websites that we did not initially build, website maintenance and upkeep require extensive upfront resources and time to learn the setup, framework and specifics of a new client’s website, thus we require annual maintenance to be a paid in full yearly fee, unless determined otherwise.

Graphics Design:

  • Full refund: This is applicable if the design has not been started. Refund can be given if the design is rejected within the 24hours circle from the delivery time.
  • No refunds: This is applicable if the project has been delivered for over 24hours.

Web Hosting / Domain Names:

  • No refunds: We do not own any public website hosting or/and domain name registration service, and we do not accept payment for webhosting or/and domain name registration on-behalf of any company.

Search Engine Optimization  & Digital Marketing:

Thriving Smart LLC has no control over the policies of search engines or directories in respect to the type of websites and/or content that they see as acceptable now and in the future.

Any search engine or directory can decide to exclude client’s website at their discretion.

Some directories may take as much as 180 days, and in some cases longer, to list a website after the service is commenced to list client’s website.

In a few times, directories and search engines can decide to drop a listing for no predictable reason.

Thriving Smart LLC is not to be held responsible for changes made on client’s website by other parties that negatively impacts on client’s website.

This means that payments made for SEO and other marketing services, are non-refundable.

Setup Fees:

Any setup fee charged for product or/and service is applied directly to expenses incurred by Thriving Smart LLC in the setup phase.

Therefore, the setup fee is non-refundable.

Chargebacks:

If we receive a payment chargeback or dispute from a credit card company or bank, your service and/or project will be suspended without notice.

Any chargeback fee (passed on to us by the credit company), plus any outstanding balances accrued as a result of the chargeback(s) must be paid in full before service is restored, files delivered, or any further work is done.

If you experience any difficulty with the service we offer, please contact us to address any billing issues.

Requesting a chargeback or opening a PayPal dispute for a valid charge from us is fraud, and is never an appropriate or legal means of obtaining a refund.

Please read and make sure you fully understand our refund policy prior to making a payment.

Non-refundable Items:

Some types of products are exempt from being returned, and we will not issue a refund of money for these products. Pre-made website scripts such as Website template, website plugin, niche blogs scripts or pre-made websites cannot be returned. We also do not accept refund request for any third-party purchase on client’s behalf.

Additional non-returnable items:

  • Gift cards or Discount codes
  • Downloadable templates, web scripts, and software products
  • Downloadable books, videos, and audio files
  • Downloadable graphics, mock-ups, and e-cover designs

How Refunds Are Processed:

All refunds are processed through the same way through which payment was made. This means that credit card payments are transferred back to credit card account within 30 business days after approval. Check or money order will be returned to you by check.
